This piece of music was ultimately inspired by H. P. Lovecraft’s short story Celephaïs, in which the protagonist, Kuranes, comes to exist entirely within the reality of his own dreams. In that fantastical, almost alien realm, he moves freely through breathtaking landscapes and distant villages, crowned king of a world shaped by imagination rather than circumstance. By the end of the story, Kuranes' consciousness ascends to another plane of existence.

This piece is about connecting to your environment and being aware of how it constantly effects and influences us... It's a journey of how someone can go from a state of melancholy to celebration, simply by stepping into new surroundings and embracing a new perspective. How new perspectives can harmonize with old ones and eventually come to the forefront of our consciousness as we shift and grow.
